This was a very experimental piece for me. This is the only time I went ahead and CGed a pencil sketch. My pencils are rarely this clean. Every other time, without exception, I think, I ink my work. There were more experiments in the waves in the background, I used a technique A.J. taught me but long since forgot. The thing I find neat is the foreground, the blurred splatter effect that kind of looks like a splash just in front of the girl. I think it looks convincing, but it was one of the happy accidents I'll never be able to reproduce. (Completed: April 18, 2000; GIMP)
